The Saint Vincent de Paul Society seeks to find those who may be in need of support either due to poor health, loneliness, financial hardship, effects of addiction or simply through unfortunate circumstances. The members work to visit those in need to meet their material and spiritual needs. To support this work the members meet regularly to pray together and develop their own spirituality so that they both deepen their own personal relationship with God and have the gifts they need to carry out the work of the Society.
Our parish SVP groups are reaching out to those in need of any kind and have a mobile phone for this purpose, please ring 07918980330 and they will call back.
The SVP is always in need of new members to carry out this work so if you would like to find out more, please contact:

As we enter the month of October, the month of the Rosary, I ask you all to seek Mary’s intercession for our troubled world, for peace, for harmony in our society, for a spirit of welcome for the stranger, asylum seeker and refugee and for a spirit of understanding in our homes, our towns and cities. Our Lady intercedes for us always, so let us ask her to support us in the mission given to us by her Son.
