The Saint Vincent de Paul Society seeks to find those who may be in need of support either due to poor health, loneliness, financial hardship, effects of addiction or simply through unfortunate circumstances. The members work to visit those in need to meet their material and spiritual needs. To support this work the members meet regularly to pray together and develop their own spirituality so that they both deepen their own personal relationship with God and have the gifts they need to carry out the work of the Society.
The SVP is always in need of new members to carry out this work so if you would like to find out more, please contact:
PAMELA SCHWENK or RAY HUSSEY via the Parish Office
SVP National Office on 0207 407 4644 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
“You did not choose me; I chose you.” These words of the Lord in this Sunday’s Gospel are for each and every one of us. The Lord chooses me; he chooses you. This choice of the Lord begins at the very first moment of our existence. At the moment of conception we are loved by God, we are His creation.
