The Parish of the Nativity of the Lord

50/50 Club

The club is one of the regular major fund raising activities in the year. Members pay £12 per year for each number they purchase.

As the name suggests, 50% of the income is distributed in prize money and 50% goes to support the Parish.

The draw takes place monthly, generally on the last Sunday of the month, with numbers drawn at random by computer.

Those interested in joining do so for a full year and subscriptions are collected in December each year in time for the first draw in January. We would encourage subscribers to pay by Standing Order or BACS, or cheque if you do not use online banking. If you are a possible new subscriber, or would like more information, please email  5050club.pnl@gmail.com and you will be allocated a number and be given the payment information.

Thought for the week

To discern a vocation is to discover the person God wants you to be. The first step is to take seriously that God has called you to be a baptised person. He called you to baptism so that you could grow in love and in holiness of life, not only for your own sake but for the sake of others to whom you are sent.
